About The Project

This project focused on transforming a tired, dated kitchen into a bright, modern and highly functional space. Through a full refresh including new flooring, wall tiling and a contemporary kitchen installation, the result is a kitchen that feels completely renewed.

By combining stone worktops, LVT flooring and a clean modern design, the space has been uplifted to suit modern living.

The Process & The Kitchen Design & Build In Progress

This kitchen renovation was delivered through a structured and well-managed process, ensuring the transformation from a dated space to a light, modern kitchen was completed efficiently and to a high standard. Careful coordination of trades and attention to detail ensured a smooth experience throughout.

Key stages of the project included:

Initial Consultation & Planning – Discussed the client’s goal to refresh the kitchen with a brighter, more modern look and agreed on materials including stone worktops, LVT flooring and wall tiles.
Preparation & Strip-Out – Removal of the existing kitchen, preparation of surfaces, and initial works ready for installation.
Plastering & First Fix Works – Plastering walls to create a smooth finish, alongside electrical and plumbing preparation.
Kitchen Installation – Supply and fitting of the new kitchen, including appliances, stone worktops and ceramic sink.
Flooring & Tiling – Installation of LVT flooring and wall tiles to complete the modern aesthetic.
Unexpected Repair & Resolution – A burst incoming mains pipe was identified and repaired quickly, preventing delays and ensuring the project stayed on track.
Final Finishing & Decoration – Decorating and final checks to ensure a clean, polished finish ready for everyday use.
