The client in Godalming had lived with the same kitchen for over 30 years and wanted a straightforward modernisation: something simple, clean and easy to live with, replacing the dated 1970s/80s look with a fresh 2026 style.
The project used the Lugano kitchen range in a Gloss Painted finish, paired with new appliances, a laminate worktop and wall tiles. With a project budget and total value of £16,000, the full kitchen design was planned around a layout that suited the client's day-to-day routine.
The scope covered removal and installation of the kitchen, plus the electrical work, plumbing and plastering needed to bring the space up to a modern standard. To see similar completed projects, visit our image gallery.
The project was completed within 1 weeks, coordinated across four trades: a kitchen installer, electrician, plumber and plasterer, each brought in at the right stage to keep the work moving efficiently.
Careful survey and preparation ahead of the start date meant the team could work through removal, first-fix electrics and plumbing, plastering, and final kitchen installation without any setbacks. As the client confirmed, everything ran smoothly precisely because of this upfront planning.
Throughout the process, ideas and layout decisions were discussed and confirmed with the client at the outset, giving full coverage of the job before work began. The property was treated with care throughout, and the site was left clean and tidy at every stage, exactly as promised.
